Greenville Tea Party - First Presidential Debate and Freedom Rally

The Greenville Tea Party - First Presidential Debate and Freedom Rally will be held on Thursday, May 5th at the Hyatt Regency, 220 North Main Street, Greenville, SC.

The event begins with a luncheon from 2:00 PM till 3:00 PM, followed by entertaining, informative, and patriotic presentations. Our keynote address will be delivered by South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley who will be introduced by Republican Party State Chairman Karen Floyd. Other speakers at this event will include, Gov. Gary Johnson, Judge Ray Moore, Congressmen Ron Paul, Trey Gowdy and Jeff Duncan, Gov. Tim Pawlenty, SC State Treasurer Curtis Loftis, State Senators David Thomas, Larry Grooms, Tom Davis, and Lee Bright, State Rep. Garry Smith, Hon Dan Herren, Greenville County's State Executive Committeeman, Dr. Buddy Witherspoon, South Carolina's former National Committeeman.

Other speakers include all three candidates for South Carolina State GOP Chairman, Steven Brown, Chad Connally, and LTC Bill Connor.

The invocation will be delivered by Pastor Stan Craig or Choice Hills Baptist Church. Additional community leaders who will speak include Dr. Christina Jeffrey lecturing on the constitution, E. Ray Moore of Exodus Ministries speaking on school choice, Ms. Ashley Landess, President of the SC Policy Council, Mr. Butch Taylor of the Greenville Taxpayers Assoc., Stewart Rhodes , founder of Oath Keepers, William Gheen of ALIPAC, Larry Pratt, President of Gun Owners of America, and several other noted authors, speakers, reenactors and performers.

From 7:30 PM till 8:30 PM we will have a prayer vigil and pray for the next President of the United States. This will be followed from 9:00 PM till 10:30 PM by watching the First in the Nation Presidential Debate on big screen TVs in the Grand Ballroom of the Hyatt.

After the Presidential Debate concludes at 10:30 PM all the presidential candidates are invited to come to the Hyatt to mix and mingle with our crowd. Tickets to the Luncheon are $35 per person. Anyone arriving after 3:30 PM may participate in everything else for only a donation of $10 to the Greenville Tea Party, Inc., a South Carolina non-profit corporation. Donations are not tax deductible.
